The whole race weekend in one program.

OAT pulls sessions straight off your Mychron and UniGo dashes, files them by driver and track, and turns them into comparisons, synced video and coaching your drivers can act on before the next session.

Management

Download straight from the dash

Connect the laptop to the track Wi-Fi and OAT finds every Mychron and UniGo on it. Sessions come off the dashes between runs and land in a folder for each championship, round and session. No card readers, no Race Studio detour.

Auto Mode checks every dash every five minutes on its own.Pro

Every session you've logged, in one table

OAT reads all your folders, including Google Drive and iCloud, and lists every file with its driver, division, championship and best lap. Filter by any of them, or type a name and the table narrows as you go.

The roster for race week

Set up the championship once: drivers, divisions and a reference driver in each class. After every session OAT matches the new files to the roster and builds a comparison for each driver against their reference.Pro

Reports you can hand to a driver

Each report is one page: the gap, the map coloured by where time was lost, and the two or three things to change. Keep them by driver and championship, and export any of them as a file to send.Pro

Analysis

Telemetry, lined up by distance

Speed, RPM, g-forces and every channel the dash logged, overlaid by distance so two laps compare corner for corner. The map follows the cursor. Mychron, UniGo, Alfano and Starlane files all open the same way.

Onboard video, synced to the data

Drop in an onboard video for each driver. OAT lines them up with the telemetry, so both drivers reach every corner at the same moment and you can watch the difference the trace is showing you.Beta

See exactly where the time goes

Pick two laps and OAT colours the track by where one driver gains or loses, then ranks the corners. In this real pair of laps the gap is 0.374 s, and the biggest losses are T12, T9 and T6.

A coach that reads the whole session

The AI Coach measures every corner of every lap and tells the driver the few things worth changing next session, each with the numbers behind it. A quick read is free; the full corner-by-corner analysis builds the driver's ideal lap.

Questions

Is OAT really free?

Yes. Free covers importing and analysing sessions, comparing laps (3 comparisons a month), downloading from your dash by hand, and 3 Direct coach analyses a month. Pro adds automatic downloads, weekend reports, unlimited comparisons and 50 analyses a month. Prefer to pay as you go? Credit packs cover extra analyses and never expire.

What is the difference between downloading and automatic downloading?

On Free you pair a dash, see its sessions and pull the ones you want. On Pro, OAT watches for new sessions and pulls them by itself between runs — you never touch the laptop. Same connection, but one of them saves you the walk back to the awning.

What data does it read?

Files from Mychron, Unipro, Starlane and Alfano dashes: AiM .xrk, Unipro .uni and .ocd, Starlane and Alfano exports (folders or .zip), and AiM CSV exports. Sessions from different dashes open side by side, so you can compare a Mychron lap with an Alfano one.

What counts as one analysis?

One run of the AI Coach on a session or a comparison. Quick and standard analyses cost one credit; a deep walkthrough costs three, because it uses a substantially larger model. Re-opening an analysis you have already run is free — it is cached, and you are never charged twice for the same result.

What happens when I run out?

Nothing breaks. You keep importing and analysing sessions and the built-in coaching analysis, which is not a teaser — it is what most people use day to day. Only the AI write-up pauses. Pro's 50 analyses a month reset every month, and so do Free's 3 Direct analyses. Credit packs, which never expire, are how to get more.

Do I need an account?

Yes — a free Overcut Academy account, created from inside OAT the first time you open it. No card needed for Free. Already have a Vault login? It works in OAT too.

How is this different from DAD?

DAD is the trackside downloader — it pulls sessions off every dash automatically. OAT is the analysis app you open afterwards. They work well together, and they're sold separately.

Does my data leave my computer?

Only if you ask it to. Sessions are read and analysed locally. Reports are shared only when you publish them, and the AI Coach sends a compact numeric summary of the session — never your raw files. Every exception is listed in our Privacy Policy.
